With just a few months to go before the conclusion of the European project TUPLES (Trustworthy Planning and Scheduling with Learning and Explanation), we’re proud to be an active part of an initiative that has made a significant contribution to the development of Trustworthy AI.

Optit’s role: from feasibility study to experimental development

We are pleased to announce that Optit’s CEO, Matteo Pozzi, recently participated in the 5th EURO Practitioners’ Forum held in Coimbra, where he presented the paper titled “From OR to Trustworthy AI: the experience of the TUPLES project.”

Optit participated in the 29th edition of the Dresdner Fernwärme-Kolloquium, a key event for the district heating sector that this year recorded a record attendance of over 450 participants and 60 exhibitors.

This year, Optit once again participated as a sponsor at the International Conference on Optimization and Decision Science (ODS) organized by AIRO, the Italian Operations Research Society.

Optit participated again this year in the EURO conference on operational research, a key event to discuss the latest developments in operational research (OR), such as the evolution of machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI).

We traveled to Orlando to exhibit at IDEA 2024, the annual conference and trade show organized by the International District Energy Association (IDEA).

The 2023 conference of the Irish District Energy Association (IrDEA) saw the participation of Matteo Pozzi, CEO of Optit and Vice Chair of the DHC+ platform of Euroheat & Power, as chair and panelist of session 3, in which the most recent and significant European experiences in district heating.

The first technical workshop of DigiBUILD, a European project in which Optit is part of the Advisory Board, will be held on October 25th at 10am.

Matteo Pozzi spoke at the ninth international conference on Smart Energy Systems in Copenhagen participating both in the Smart energy infrastructure and storage options session and chairing the Integrated energy systems and smart grids table.

This year as well, Optit proudly renews its support to AIRO, the national association on operations research, with the sponsorship of the International Conference on Optimization and Decision Science (ODS23), which will be held in Ischia.
