Managing such a complex ecosystem calls for advanced tools. The real challenge lies in combining maximum day-to-day operational efficiency with rigorous long-term strategic control.

How we create value

Optit has been working alongside Herambiente for over ten years with its Decision Support System (DSS) OptiWasteFlow. This advanced platform delivers optimised planning and runs what-if simulation scenarios. Waste flows are monitored continuously across three decision-making levels: strategic, tactical and operational. At its core, the solution builds the four-year industrial plan and annual budget. OptiWasteFlow also updates in-year forecasts through forecasting logic and variance analysis.

Building on this proprietary software, we developed a bespoke operational module, integrated into the solution. This extension manages individual journeys in detail, communicating seamlessly with ERP systems, hauliers and plants. The result is a single, unified view of the entire logistics chain.
