Internationalisation call

Taking our expertise beyond national borders, more and more. This was the primary goal of Optit’s internationalisation project.Along the way we looked at the markets with the greatest potential for digital innovation: the United States, Canada, Ireland and the United Kingdom.Activities developed along two main lines – Energy & Industry and Logistics & Supply Chain – with the support of specialist professionals tasked with conducting targeted market analysis and defining dedicated business development strategies.The project had set a precise target: to reach €2 million in generated value by the end of 2024.A target we hit, paving the way for a phase of consolidation and further growth.A journey that strengthened Optit’s international presence, helping us win new contracts, expand our client base and consolidate in our key markets.Among the actions carried out:

  • consultancy on brand strategy and commercial/business development;
  • participation in international trade fairs and industry events, including:
  • Euroheat & Power Congress 2024 – Rotterdam, 3-5 June 2024;
  • Gartner Supply Chain Symposium/Xpo™ 2024 – Barcelona, 10 June 2024;
  • IDEA2024 Annual Conference & Trade Show – Orlando, 17-19 June 2024;
  • IRDEA 2024 – Dublin, 24 October 2024;
  • Environmental Services & Solutions Expo 2024 – Birmingham, 11-12 September 2024;
  • TransLogistica Poland 2024 – Warsaw, 5-7 November 2024;
  • the creation of our new website, designed with a focus on global markets;
  • the production of communication and promotional materials for the trade fairs we attended.

All these actions were supported by the ‘Sostegno a progetti di internazionalizzazione delle PMI, Consorzi e aggregazioni di PMI – 2023’ call, under the PR-FESR Emilia-Romagna 2021-2027 programme, Azione 1.3.2 (Incentivazione dei processi di internazionalizzazione per rafforzare competitività e attrattività sui mercati del sistema produttivo regionale).

Other calls

Through the ‘Digital Export’ call, we strengthened our presence in international markets, with a focus on Germany, while reinforcing our digital strategy: SEO, SEM and more effective communication tools to support long-term competitiveness.The ‘Investimenti produttivi’ call allowed us to deeply innovate our technology infrastructure: from the widespread adoption of DevOps methodologies, to fully leveraging public and private clouds, through to strengthening our customer service processes.

Finally, through funding for Research & Development, we developed OptiMES, an evolution of the PLAMES system, to plan the development of multi-energy infrastructure at national scale even more effectively. A tool designed to shape and provide concrete support for decarbonisation strategies.
