Two years into the project, a wide range of upgrading solutions have been explored, analysing how they will impact the future operations and performance of operations across the whole value chain (generation, distribution and consumption).\n\nThe meeting, that will take place on May 12, presents the chance to plan the next project\u2019s activities, that will focus on the creation of sustainable business models and national action plans for the replicability of the upgrading measures across the EU, hopefully including a large public event to be held after summer. Stay tuned to be updated!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">About the project<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The overall objective of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.upgrade-dh.eu\/it\/home\/\">UpgradeDH<\/a> project is to improve the performance of district heating (DH) networks in Europe by supporting selected demonstration cases for upgrading, which can be replicated across the continent. The Upgrade DH project supports the upgrading and retrofitting process of DH systems in different climate regions of Europe, covering various countries: Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia, Denmark, Germany, Italy, Lithuania, Poland, and The Netherlands. The gained knowledge and experiences will be further replicated to other European countries and DH systems (replication cases) in order to leverage the impact.\n\nCore activities of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.upgrade-dh.eu\/it\/home\/\">UpgradeDH<\/a> project include the collection of the best upgrading measures and tools, the support of the upgrading process for selected DH networks, the organisation of capacity building measures about DH upgrading, financing and business models, as well as the development of national and regional action
