After more than a century of activity, IDEA continues to inform, connect and promote district heating around the world with over 2,400 DHC professionals and operators from more than 30 countries.\n\nFor Optit, joining the association represents a further step in the company’s international positioning path in the field of energy systems optimization<\/strong>, started with the participation in various projects in the Horizon 2020 program (UpgradeDH, PlaMES, Retrofeed), the work in support of the District Energy in Cities Initiative of the UN Environment, the active contribution in Euroheat & Power through the DHC + platform, the Celsius Initiative and the IEA, together with projects and commercial partnerships with some of the main players in the sector.\n\nMatteo Pozzi, CEO and partner of Optit, will speak at IDEA 2022<\/strong>, the annual meeting organized by the International District Energy Association, which this year, after the pandemic, will take place again in Toronto from 6 to 8 June .
