This conference brings together international leaders in the district heating sector to discuss the latest technologies and strategies for decarbonisation and energy systems.\n\nThe theme of IDEA 2024 was “District Energy for Sustainable Cities”, highlighting the role of district heating in tackling climate change, reducing emissions and improving the resilience and connectivity of local economies.\n\nWe’ve heard from some of the largest utilities in the district heating sector and it’s clear that this technology can play an important role.\nThe sector is definitely growing and the pressure of decarbonisation is transforming it into a key factor in the energy transition process.\nThis will lead to a major shift towards industry integration, which represents a great opportunity for Optit, which has long experience gained in EU markets with mature solutions to optimize the management of generation assets (from strategic planning to short-term operations deadline and in real time).\n\nThe potential for collaboration is huge, and we can’t wait to engage with some of the many brilliant people we’ve interacted with in Orlando.\n\nhttps:\/\/www.districtenergy.org\/idea2024\/home<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
