Within this evolving context, the <a href=\"https:\/\/ehpcongress.org\/\">Euroheat &amp; Power Congress<\/a> has become a key meeting point for institutions, utilities, researchers, and technology providers working to advance the sector.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After many years of attending as visitors, this is <strong>our second year<\/strong> participating <strong>as exhibitors<\/strong>, with the aim of <a href=\"https:\/\/optit.net\/en\/what-we-do\/use-cases\/\">sharing our experience<\/a>, exchanging perspectives, and contributing to the broader discussion on the digital and strategic transformation of DHC networks.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We\u2019ll be attending the EHP Congress in Prague from June 3 to 5 with a team of three: our <strong>CEO Matteo Pozzi<\/strong> and two of our energy consultants, <strong>Costanza Giardini<\/strong> and <strong>Valerio Di Felice<\/strong>. Matteo Pozzi will also participate in the congress as <strong>Chair of DHC+<\/strong>, the innovation platform of Euroheat &amp; Power, and <strong>will moderate the DHC+ General Assembly<\/strong> on June 3 at 1:45 PM.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Another key moment will be the session \u201c<strong>Skills, baby skills!<\/strong>\u201d on June 5 at 11:15, focusing on how to close the skills gap in the DHC sector \u2013 from education to recruitment. The session will feature Aksana Krasatsenka, Knowledge Transfer Director at Euroheat &amp; Power, representing all Euroheat &amp; Power members in a conversation that highlights effective and real-world solutions.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Enabling smarter cities through integrated energy systems<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Heating and cooling account for roughly half of Europe\u2019s total energy demand, with <strong>urban areas<\/strong> at the centre of this challenge. District energy systems are a <strong>key enabler for the urban energy transition<\/strong>, since they are able to leverage local energy sources \u2013 including renewables and industrial waste heat \u2013, increase efficiency and reduce emissions, while integrating multiple energy vectors and balancing supply and real-time demand.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The EHP Congress offers a unique opportunity to align innovation, regulation, and know-how transfer on a European scale, to further advance the development of the energy
