Our
solution
Using Optit’s solution for logistical planning, perfectly integrated using SAP, the new transportation planning process was implemented. The solution was based on Optit’s proprietary routing algorithm, appropriately verticalized for the specific business issue. After a few months’ pilot phase in which the problem was defined and the algorithm was finalised, the new transportation planning process was put into production. Optit’s software optimised trip planning (improving times and other measurables) without affecting service quality, allowing the company to invest more time in other activities, such as recruiting transport operators.
