RETROFEED
RETROFEED is an EU-funded project aimed at developing a cost-effective, innovative, and replicable system for retrofitting existing industrial processes. The project is a collaboration between 15 partners from 7 countries, with the goal of reducing energy consumption and CO2 emissions in the industrial sector.
One of the key components of the RETROFEED project is the development of a Decision Support System (DSS) that can assist decision-makers in the retrofitting process. The DSS is being developed by Optit.
The RETROFEED DSS solution incorporates data from various sources, such as energy monitoring systems, process data, and environmental data, to generate a comprehensive picture of the industrial process. The DSS is designed to provide decision-makers with accurate and timely information, allowing them to make informed decisions about retrofitting their industrial processes.
The DSS is user-friendly, flexible, and customizable, making it an important tool for a range of stakeholders, including industrial operators, energy managers, and sustainability managers.
The RETROFEED project is an important step towards achieving the EU’s goal of reducing greenhouse gas emissions by at least 55% by 2030. The project has the potential to significantly reduce energy consumption and CO2 emissions in the industrial sector, making a significant contribution to the fight against climate change.
